Gravenors Bay Snorkeling

The MOST popular snorkel dive spot in Barbuda.

North of Antigua on the south end of Barbuda, the snorkeling at Gravenors Bay offers great visibility. The southwestern beaches of Barbuda are idyllic for snorkeling. There are shipwrecks and reefs just offshore. Overall, the visibility while snorkeling Gravenors Bay ranges from 40 feet to 70 feet.

To reach the snorkeling on Barbados by air, use the Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI). There are daily flights to VC Bird International Airport on Antigua via ABM Air. Alternately, the Barbuda Express catamaran boat service runs between St Johns and Antigua (26 miles / 90 minutes). The best way to get around the island is by renting a car.
