On the southeast coast of Martinique, the snorkeling at Cap Chevalier is known for its calm waters and protective reef. The Cap Chevalier snorkeling is best on the weekdays when the beach is empty. It is located southeast of Fort-de-France and east of Sainte Anne about 3.9 miles southeast of Le Marin.
The historic city of Saint-Pierre makes a good base. After a long day of adventuring, try the restaurant Le Guerin in the popular market building.
To reach the snorkeling on Martinique by air, fly in to the Martinique Aime Cesaire International Airport (FDF) located southeast of the capital, Fort-de-France.
In addition, there is a ferry called L'Express de Iles that interconnects Dominica, Guadeloupe, Martinique and St Lucia.
Overall, Cap Chevalier is the 7th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 9 snorkeling dives in Martinique.
