Long Cay Snorkeling

The 12th most popular snorkel dive spot in Turks And Caicos.

Southeast of Providenciales and southwest South Caicos, the snorkeling off the western shore of Long Cay is known for its elkhorn and staghorn coral. During Long Cay snorkeling, you may encounter barracuda, squirrelfish, french grunts, triggerfish and snapper. Located within the Admiral Cockburn Land And Sea National Park, it is mainly accessed by either sea kayak or by an organized snorkel boat tour.

Long Cay Point is located 4 miles to the southwest of Cockburn Harbour and next to Dove Cay. While snorkeling, watch out for boat traffic close to shore.

To reach the snorkeling on Turks and Caicos by air, fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS) located in the middle of the island. The island of South Caicos can be reached from Providenciales by either air or ferry. There is a regular domestic flight offered by AIr Turks And Caicos. The ferry service is offered twice a week by Caribbean Cruisin and takes about 90 minutes.

Overall, Long Cay is the 12th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 32 snorkeling dives in Turks And Caicos.
