Crooks Reef Snorkeling

The MOST popular snorkel dive spot in St Eustatius.

Southwest of Oranjestad offshore of Statia, the snorkeling at outer Crooks Reef is considered a shallow reef dive. There is plenty of marine life to observe including blue tangs, cowfish, damselfish, butterflyfish and parrotfish.

To access the outer Crooks Reef snorkeling from Oranjestad, use the private boat charter from the city pier which takes about 5 minutes.

To reach the snorkeling dive sites of St Eustatius by air, fly into FD Roosevelt Airport (EUX), which is located in the middle of the island just northeast of Oranjestad. In addition, there is also a ferry service available from the nearby island of St Maarten.

Overall, Crooks Reef is the 1st most popular snorkel dive spot of all 5 snorkeling dives in St Eustatius.
