Kimmeridge Bay Snorkeling

The MOST popular snorkel dive spot in UK.

Southwest of London and Southampton, the snorkelling in Kimmeridge Bay is popular for its snorkel trail. The 400m long snorkel trail is setup annually and consists of five buoys marking the route through diverse seabed habitats.

Note: the Kimmeridge Bay snorkel trail is best explored during calm sea conditions when there hasn't been recent rains. It is best enjoyed during neap tides.

To reach the snorkeling at Kimmeridge Bay, take the A351 from Wareham to Corfe Castle. Use the first turn right to Creech. Follow road to the top of a steep hill and round a hairbend bend signposted to Church Knowle. After roughly 2 miles, turn right to Kimmeridge. Drive through village to toll booth. Parking fee payable to Smedmore Estate

Overall, Kimmeridge Bay is the 1st most popular snorkel dive spot of all 4 snorkeling dives in UK.
