Also known as Rapa Nui, the snorkeling off Easter Island is known for its extreme clarity, coral reefs and volcanic bottom. The most popular reef snorkeling dives on Easter Island are Motu Nui, La Perouse and Hanga Rao.

Easter Island is located about halfway between the coast of Chile in South America and French Polynesia. To reach Easter Island by air, use the Mataveri International Airport. There are regular flights from Santiago, Chile, on LAN airlines (5.5 hours) and once a week from Tahiti.
