South of Tokyo on the Izu Peninsula, the snorkeling off Hirizo Beach is very popular. You can expect to see plenty of marine life around the reefs and rocks, including lionfish, scorpionfish, rockfish and dragon moray eels. The water clarity is not the greatest, but the marine diversity makes up for it.
