The water clarity is not the greatest, but the marine diversity makes up for it.

The Koganezaki Bay Park is located on the southwest end of the Izu Peninsula in the Shizuoka prefecture. It scenic two hour drive south from Tokyo to reach Koganezaki Bay Park.

Overall, Koganezaki Bay Park is the 9th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 19 snorkeling dives in Japan. Several of the better snorkeling spots are nearby Koganezaki Bay Park including Hirizo Beach and Suruga Bay.
