South of Tokyo and just southwest of Ugusu on the Izu Peninsula, the snorkeling off Koganezaki Bay Park is known for plenty of marine life around the reefs and rocks, including lionfish, scorpionfish, rockfish and dragon moray eels. The water clarity is not the greatest, but the marine diversity makes up for it.
The Koganezaki Bay Park is located on the southwest end of the Izu Peninsula in the Shizuoka prefecture. It scenic two hour drive south from Tokyo to reach Koganezaki Bay Park.
