Cala Deia Snorkeling

On the northcoast of Mallorca in the Balearic Sea, the snorkeling at Cala Deia offer some of the best water on the island. The pebble Deia Beach can have excellent snorkeling, but is also know for rough surf so make sure to check the conditions first.
Located south of Barcelona off the coast from Valencia, the island of Mallorca is known for its clear waters with good visibility. While snorkeling in Mallorca, you may encounter sea turtles, stingrays, perch, barracuda, scorpionfish, parrotfish and octopus among the anemones and soft corals.
To reach the Mallorca Island snorkeling, fly directly into Aeroport de Palma (PMI) from one of many international cities. The airport is located about 8km to the east of the main city of Palma. The capital city of Palma makes a great base for exploring the Mallorca snorkeling sites.
Overall, Cala Deia is the 4th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 21 snorkeling dives in Spain. Several of the better snorkeling spots are nearby Cala Deia including Cala Figuera, Cala Es Trenc, Cala Llamp, Cala Tuent, Cala Banyalbufar and Cala Mitjana.
