Southeast of Komodo and southwest of Flores, the snorkeling in Horseshoe Bay of Rinca Island is a popular dive destination. The Horseshoe Bay is an anchient caldera with Kode Island in the center.

To reach this snorkeling dive site, use a dive boat departing from Labuan Bajoon on the island of Flores. Most of the dive sites are west of Labuan Bajoon. Before and during snorkeling, be aware of the strong currents.

Tip - While snorkeling off Rinca Island, make sure to use a diver down flag since the boaters tend to drive fast and be unaware of snorkelers in the water.

Overall, Rinca Island is the 7th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 8 snorkeling dives in Indonesia.
