Off the northeast coast of Puerto Rico, the snorkeling off Cayo Diablo National Park is popular for its sea turtles found amongst stands of staghorn coral and elkhorn coral. While this is usually a boat acccessed dive site in 15 to 50 feet deep water, there are scenic beaches for novice snorkelers.

To reach Puerto Rico by air, fly into Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU). Cayo Diablo is located 4 miles east of Cabezas De San Juan and is accessible by a 20 minute boat ride.

Tip: when snorkeling offshore of Cayo Diable, make sure to watch out for currents.

Overall, Cayo Diablo is the 3rd most popular snorkel dive spot of all 17 snorkeling dives in Puerto Rico.
