North of Frederiksted on the northwest corner of St Croix USVI, the Monks Bath tide pools offer an exciting snorkeling in a normally calm rocky coastline. It is a rectangular bathing chamber that the monks in the Knights of Malta carved out of the rocky shoreline during the late 1600's.
To reach the snorkeling at Monk's Bath from Frederiksted, head north on Hams Bluff Road for roughly 3.5 miles. There are stairs leading down to the rocky baths.
Overall, Monks Bath is the 10th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 10 snorkeling dives in St Croix.
