Near Port Antonio, the snorkeling off San San Beach is known for its abundant marine life in shallow, protected waters. Off San San Beach, there are reefs to explore located just offshore. In addition, there is an offshore island known as Pelew Island or Princess Island. During San San Beach snorkeling, you may encounter sting rays, eagle rays, turtles, butterflyfish and angelfish among the star coral and brain coral.

To reach the snorkeling on Jamaica by air, you can use either Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) near Kingston or Sangster International Airport (MBJ) near Montego Bay. The San San Beach snorkeling dive site is located about 1.3 miles to teh east of Drapers.

Overall, San San Beach is the 10th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 20 snorkeling dives in Jamaica.
