Off the east coast of Nicaragua, the snorkeling off Little Corn Island is known for its barrier reef system. While snorkeling off the Corn Islands, you may encounter turtles, dolphins, green moray eels, southern stingrays, yellow fairy basslets and angelfish. The best snorkeling on the one square mile Little Corn Island is at Playa Cocal.

The Corn Islands are 56 miles off the eastern coast of Nicaragua. To reach the Little Corn Island snorkeling, fly into Managua, Nicaragua, and then hop on regional carrier La Costena to Big Corn Island (usually stops in Blue Fields on the way). From the Big Corn Island airport, grab a taxi down to the Corn Island harbor where there is a 30 minute boat ride over to Little Corn Island.

To reach Managua by air, there are flights from the USA via the international airports in Houston, Atlanta and Miami.

Overall, Little Corn Island is the 2nd most popular snorkel dive spot of all 3 snorkeling dives in Nicaragua.
