South of Cockburn Town off the west coast of Grand Turk, the snorkeling at the Osprey Beach Hotel house reef is popular for diverse marine life. While snorkeling at Osprey Beach, you may encounter parrotfish, trumpetfish, stoplight fish, octopus and grunts. This snorkel spot is good for families and beginners. It is located southwest of the airport.
Grand Turk is located 70 miles southeast of Providenciales and there is no public ferry service.To reach the snorkeling on Turks and Caicos by air, fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS) located in the middle of the island. To reach Grand Turk from Providenciales, you will need to fly on a domestic airline into Grand Turk McCartney airport (GDT) which takes about 30 minutes.
