Ancon Peninsula Snorkeling

The 16th most popular snorkel dive spot in Cuba.

Southeast of Havana and south of Trinidad on the southshore of Cuba, the snorkeling at Ancon Peninsula is known for its abundant marine life. The Ancon Peninsula is located about 12km south of Trinidad.

There are several boat-accessed snorkeling dive sites further off the southeastern coast of the Ancon Peninsula. The best boat-accessed dives are at Cayo Iguanas, Cayo Blanco and Cayo Macho de Afuera. For the boat-accessed sites, use the Marlin Marina. The Cayo Iguanas dive site is accessible by catamaran tours and is surrounded by vibrant coral reefs within crystal clear waters.

To reach the snorkeling on Cuba, fly into Havana Jose Marti International Airport located on the northwest side of the island.

Overall, Ancon Peninsula is the 16th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 16 snorkeling dives in Cuba.
