Seaview Reef Snorkeling

The 12th most popular snorkel dive spot in Grand Cayman.

Just south of Georgetown, the snorkelling at Seaview Reef offers diverse marine life over a spur-groove coral reef offshore. It is the house reef of Seaview Resort.

During Seaview Reef snorkeling, you may encounter turtles, tarpon, trumpetfish, sergeant majors, parrotfish, damselfish, and yellowtails. This shore-accessed snorkeling dive site is off an ironshore so foot access can be difficult.

After a long day of snorkeling at Seaview Reef, you might want to grab a cool, refreshing drink at Bar Jack, Tiki Beach or the Wreck Bar at Rum Point.

To reach the snorkeling on Grand Cayman Island by air, you will fly into the Owen Roberts International Airport (GCM). Once on Grand Cayman Island, the snorkeling dive sites are easily accessed by renting either a scooter or jeep, both of which are common means of transportation on the island. There is also a public bus that covers most regions of the island. When departing the Cayman Islands, there is a departure tax of $37.50USD. This tax may be included in the airline ticket, but you will want to verify in advance.

The Seaview Reef snorkeling dive site is located due west of the Owen Roberts International Airport. It is located south of the Parrots Reef snorkeling dive site and north of the Sunset House Reef dive site. There is a dive shop right near the parking area.

Overall, Seaview Reef is the 12th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 19 snorkeling dives in Grand Cayman.
