Southeast of Phuket and southwest of Ko Lanta in the Andaman Sea, the snorkeling at Koh Rok is popular for its high water clarity and plentiful marine life. Koh Rok consists of two sister-islands Ko Rock Nai and Ko Rok Nok. During Koh Rok snorkeling, you may encounter colorful soft and hard corals, and huge sea fans. Keep an eye out for ribbon eels. The water depth ranges from 6 feet to 30 feet deep. Two of the more popular snorkeling dive sites are off the southern Ko Rok Nok island on the eastern side; they are called Clownfish Reef and Seafan Garden.
Koh Rok is located in the Andaman Sea to the southwest of Ko Lanta. It is accessed by ferry service from the mainland and by long-tail boat service.
Overall, Koh Rok is the 8th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 13 snorkeling dives in Thailand.
