Southwest of Cafeiere on Basse-Terre, the snorkeling at Plage Leroux offers clear calm waters providing habitat for plentiful marine life. The dive site is located 4 miles southwest of Cafeiere. During Plage Leroux snorkeling, you may encounter angelfish, tangs, parrotfish, wrasses, eels and octopus among the brain coral formations.
To reach the snorkeling in Guadeloupe by air, you will need to fly into Pointe-a-Pitre International Airport (PTP).
In addition, there is a ferry called L'Express de Iles that interconnects Dominica, Guadeloupe, Martinique and St Lucia.
