Offshore of Montego Bay, the snorkeling at Bogue Lagoon is known for its diverse marine life. This dive site is located 2.5 miles southwest of Montego Bay. During Coyoba Reef snorkeling, you may encounter parrotfish, chromis, butterflyfish, clownfish, angelfish, wrasses, stingrays, eagle rays and turtles.

To reach the snorkeling on Jamaica by air, you can use either Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) near Kingston or Sangster International Airport (MBJ) near Montego Bay.

Overall, Bogue Lagoon is the 12th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 20 snorkeling dives in Jamaica. Several of the better snorkeling spots are nearby Bogue Lagoon including Doctors Cave Beach, Coyaba Reef, Royal Reef and Montego Bay Marine Park.
