Southwest of Negril on Jamaica, the snorkeling at Josephs Cave offer diverse marine life to observe. This dive site is located about 1.75 miles to the southwest of Negril. During Josephs Cave snorkeling, you may encounter butterflyfish, angelfish, wrasses, chromis, parrotfish, stingrays and turtles among the brain coral and elkhorn coral. The water depth ranges down to 25 feet deep.
To reach the snorkeling on Jamaica by air, you can use either Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) near Kingston or Sangster International Airport (MBJ) near Montego Bay. The Rockhouse snorkeling dive site is located about 1.5 miles west-southwest of the middle of Negril.
If you are staying at the Rockhouse Hotel, try to get a bungalow near the restaurant for the best access to the best snorkeling.
