Northwest of Black River and southeast of New Hope, the snorkelling at Parkers Bay is popular for its scenic offshore reefs. This dive site is located about 1.5 miles to the south-southwest of New Hope. During Font Hill Beach Park snorkeling dives, you may encounter parrotfish, squirrelfish, angelfish, butterflyfish, sting rays and eagle rays among the elkhorn coral and brain coral.

To reach the snorkeling on Jamaica by air, you can use either Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) near Kingston or Sangster International Airport (MBJ) near Montego Bay.

Overall, Parkers Bay is the 20th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 20 snorkeling dives in Jamaica. Several of the better snorkeling spots are nearby Parkers Bay including Treasure Beach, Font Hill Beach Park and Bluefields Bay Beach.
