Off the northwest coast of Yap Island, the snorkeling at Mi'il Channel is the second most popular dive after Goofnuw Channel. It is good manta ray cleaning station from November to May. It is best just before slack high tide. During Mi'il Channel snorkeling, keep an eye out for sleeping white-tipped reef sharks.
Yap Island is located in the Western Caroline Island Chain. To reach Yap Island by air, there are weekly flights from Guam and Manila.
