Abrolhos Archipelago Snorkeling

The 3rd most popular snorkel dive spot in Brazil.

Northeast of Rio de Janeiro and off the coast from Nova Vicosa, the snorkeling at Abrolhos Archipelago is very popular for its volcanic islands with coral reefs. The reef formations provide habitat for exceptional biodiversity. There are 90 foot tall mushroom coral heads. The islands are located about 45 miles off the coast of Bahia.

Overall, Abrolhos Archipelago is the 3rd most popular snorkel dive spot of all 10 snorkeling dives in Brazil.
