Southwest South Caicos, the snorkeling at Dove Cay is the most popular dive spot in the region. It is located just offshore of the southwest coast of South Caicos. There is sea grass that is popular with sea turtles and stingrays.

Long Cay Point is located 4 miles to the southwest of Cockburn Harbour and next to Dove Cay. While snorkeling, watch out for boat traffic close to shore.

To reach the snorkeling on Turks and Caicos by air, fly into Providenciales International Airport (PLS) located in the middle of the island. The island of South Caicos can be reached from Providenciales by either air or ferry. There is a regular domestic flight offered by AIr Turks And Caicos. The ferry service is offered twice a week by Caribbean Cruisin and takes about 90 minutes.

Overall, Dove Cay is the 28th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 32 snorkeling dives in Turks And Caicos. Several of the better snorkeling spots are nearby Dove Cay including West Side and Long Cay.
