Viva Shallows Snorkeling

Southwest of Punta Cana off the southeast shore of Dominican Republic, the snorkeling at Viva Shallows is known for good marine life. Also known as the Anchor, the water depth is 15 to 30 feet deep. The snorkeling zone is protected by a ring of marker no-boating buoys. While snorkeling the Viva Shallows, you may encounter Southern Stingrays, Eagle Rays, octopus and moray eels.
This boat accessed snorkel spot is acccessed by several snorkel tour and scuba charter boats out of Bayahibe. The boat ride is roughly 5 minutes.
