On the north coast of Mallorca near the village of Banyalbufar, the snorkeling at Cala Banyalbufar is well known with local snorkelers for its rocky coastline and beach. It has exceptionally clear water. The best snorkeling is right off the pebble beach and then head straight out.

Located south of Barcelona off the coast from Valencia, the island of Mallorca is known for its clear waters with good visibility. While snorkeling in Mallorca, you may encounter sea turtles, stingrays, perch, barracuda, scorpionfish, parrotfish and octopus among the anemones and soft corals.

To reach the Mallorca Island snorkeling, fly directly into Aeroport de Palma (PMI) from one of many international cities. The airport is located about 8km to the east of the main city of Palma. The capital city of Palma makes a great base for exploring the Mallorca snorkeling sites.

Overall, Cala Banyalbufar is the 15th most popular snorkel dive spot of all 21 snorkeling dives in Spain. Several of the better snorkeling spots are nearby Cala Banyalbufar including Cala Deia, Cala Figuera, Cala Es Trenc, Cala Llamp, Cala Tuent and Cala Mitjana.
